Looks like an interesting little gadget. My MK4 does everything I need it to do, so not sure I really need the Dash. But..... one can never have too many toys! Maybe someday.

Why is a meat probe like crack cocaine for me? They are in every drawer in my house...i swear. Yet i see a post like this and immediately want to buy a dash. Ha. And not just one... of course i need the long probe and the short probe. Ha.

Oh, I'd say about $30/sec difference, not worth it in my book. I would not buy the new one if the old one is working. My daddy the colonel says " Buy it new and wear it out, take care of what you have or do without."
