I need to transport my Bull next month. With the topper and carpeted box on my F150, putting it in the truck is not an option. I'll have to use my 6x12' utility trailer. Have any of you emptied the hoppers and transported your grills laying down? I don't feel comfortable leaving it upright and strapped down...still seems tippy.

If you have the standard legs then I would remove the box from the legs and ship it upright sitting on the floor. If you have the comp cart I wouldnt worry about it at all.

I'd take the legs off of it and transport it, then reassemble it when I got to where I was going.

I guess the reason I asked is because when the unit is assembled, it needs to be on it's side to get the legs on. To get the legs off, it also needs to be on it's side.

Why not just transport it the whole way on it's side if everything is taken out of the inside and the hopper is emptied?

Transport it anyway you feel comfortable with. If it was me and on its side... I'd just make sure lids couldn't flop open or the unit get scratched or possibly too much vibration for the electronics... Hell they make these trailers, and they ride vertical in the open.so maybe just a CPL good ratchet straps and some softeners is all ya need? Granted those are probably bolted down, but still.

I have a com cart on mine and picked up some d rings at harbor freight and bolted one on each corner of the cart. I used thead inserts or rivnuts as we call them but nut and bolt would be fine
