I seen that, I have that set also and will probably give this a try soon. Nice job !

Looks awesome. I'm going to have to give it a shot. I've done a few on my BGE but with mixed results and I'm pretty sure, more hassle. I've got the RT680.

Looks great! That’s high on my list of things to try. Has anyone tried the inverted grill grates vs a pizza stone vs cast iron to see which works best?

I have pizza stone and grill grates. Pizza stone does a nice job but looking at the pic of pizza’s, I may try the grill grates. Maybe they get hotter than my stone?

So far, we've only done the Papa Murphy's, using their Paper Trays
Wonder if you could use the Mesh Cooking Mats instead ?

We LOVE homema pizza on the pellet grill. We’ve done them on perforated pizza pans, the flat side of the grill grates, the stock Bull grates, pizza stone and enamel coated pizza stone. We prefer the enamel pizza stone for a great crust and easy clean up. Haven’t ever done a frozen or take and bake pizza on the pellet grill.

My neighbor made papa Murphy’s also. He said he started with paper tray and then around half way he pulled out the tray and let finish on grates. Said it turned out great.
Cool
Maybe on our next go-round, we'll try cooking the for 10 mins, then slide them off onto the Mats for the last 5-8

We usually start our cook on parchment paper. 3-5 minutes and we pull it to get a crispy crust. Not sure how heavy of a paper they use on a take and bake but 10 minutes may be more than you need. The great part is you can try and try and try until you get it right! 😋

Pizza is one of my favorite things to cook on the Bull.(y)

I buy dough at a local pizza joint. Roll it out, brush with olive oil, and throw it on a HOT fire on my Weber kettle for about 30 seconds a side. Take the crust back inside for toppings then put it on the Bull at 425 for 10-15 minutes.
