Blackstone or comparable griddle owners here?

We have "Spare The Air" days here to protect the worlds air quality 🙄 One of the exemptions includes preparing food. That's my excuse ;) "While fires for cooking are not prohibited during Spare the Air Alerts, consider public health and be mindful of air quality on these days. Consider using...

RT-1070 Bull horns. Have you ever wondered why the bull horns on the grill are installed pointing in when bull horns always point outward.

Yesterday I flipped the 700's horns from pointing in and up to pointing in and down. Very happy with the result :D(y)

Off topic, but worthy. A membership there may also save you some money on insurance also. Ask your agent.

    Meat inflation ruining barbecue

I like that calculator. Looks like it works pretty good. Though I don't like the answers it's giving me.

    Smoked Bribes

Funny. I thought this was a Smoked Bribs thread. (Bacon wrapped ribs) I don't usually share the BBQ. But do share the home roasted coffee and homebrew.

    Meat inflation ruining barbecue

The "sale prices" on meat today are still higher than the regular prices just 3+ years ago. I have a hard time with that. I'm voting to attempt to improve things around here this November.

    Need lid for grease bucket

If you come up with something wind proof, rain proof, I forgot proof, burn proof, have to put it away proof, etc., this is the place to share that idea. I haven't seen anyone make something like that yet.

    Need lid for grease bucket

Try cutting a prototype from some tin. Easy enough to work with, and the wind shouldn't be a problem with the weight of it. A plastic printed one might not like the heat coming off the smoker. Keep us posted. I do admire you cooking in a windy rain storm though. I'm not that brave.

Bullseye 2° No Problem for The Bull

I use a welding blanket when it gets down to the chilly ranges. Slows pellet consumption way down. But I wonder if it applies less smoke at that slower consumption 🤨
