Prior house I had a Wolf gas grille under a 9’ ceiling screened porch with fan. White ceiling showed stains and the screens were quite plugged. Not recommended.

Link says those are porcelain coated. Once that fails the grate fails quickly. My Wolf gas grille had porcelain coated iron grates that were great for 3-5 years then failed miserably fast.

I had similar happen on my RT1250. Intense smoke just like that and then BOOM! Lid flew up and it blew the door open on the smoke box and failed the top hinge weld. Recteq had me send them pictures of my igniter and they had me readjust it. Also they sent me a replacement smoke box. I have Lava...
