    Motorcycle shop in Conroe? That’s where I get mine too. They used to carry the 40 lb. bags for $20.00. It seems they only carry 20 lb. bags now.

    Not a fan of the reverse seared. I would take mine with the grill cranked up 520+ flip at 5 minutes and pull at 128.

    Try a bag for yourself and let me know what you think. We all have different tastes. You may have a totally different opinion. Kettle with charcoal is hard to beat.

    No charcoal flavor at all. They held temp and they may heat up quicker. I did crank it up after the cook, and hit 540 fairly quickly.

    Interesting. I was just on Royal Oaks website and in the product details it mentions they can be used in all pellet grills, including recteq.
