feed rate reduced to 3 on my 2nd cook, several weeks ago. I am doing well at smoking temps with this setting. holds temp very very steady.

I had it set at 400 and bumped it to FULL... it...
I’ve had my 590 today on FULL heat for well over 30 minutes and it maxed out at 430°. I bumped it back to 495° and now it’s climbed to 495°. It dThere’s a flaw with the FULL setting.

I just noticed that you also have modded your wifi antenna... adding a larger one to the exterior of the hopper box...
Could you please share how you did that? Story behind it? Were you having issues with the connection?
I did a brisket the other day... a big'un. 17.5 pounds pre-trim. I had some issues with temp moving around a bit more than I would like during first 1.5 hours or so. I adjusted the pellet feed rate from its initial setting down to a 3.
Opened cooker at brisket internal temp of 150 to crutch...
my gap/seal all around the lid imo is very good. its consistent and tight. looks just like Dunerzr photos... Maybe there is a way for you to adjust it Cody? I would call the boys at Rec Tec too, im certain that they will make it right.

just recieved my 590 last week... did some chicken than decided to go all out and threw on a 17.5 pound (gross weight) brisket. was a bit nervous not knowing the cooker... about an hour and 1/2 in... I noticed that it was bouncing around a bit with temp... I lowered the feed rate to 3 and it did...
