    Bullseye Startup Issues

Got Tired of loading handful each time so called them up again for same issue. They immediately suggested their newer controllers. I had first batch of official releases before they accounted for cold weather effects. Needless to say since replacement controller all has been well thus far. Been...

    Bullseye Startup Issues

Fresh and new pellets did same thing. 44 deg F outside. It just isn’t feeding enough into the fire pot. Put a handful in there before each cook and all is well. Not what I was hoping to have to do each use but there I have it.

    Bullseye Startup Issues

So nearly 3 weeks later and we are back to where we were again with startup issues. Haven’t used in 2 weeks. Can’t get past 160 after two ER 2 codes it finally got to 170 but nothing higher for 1.5 hrs now. So either my pellets are the issue again or feeding issue for me. There are embers flying...

    Bullseye Startup Issues

I reached out to CS today finally and went through the normal motions: make sure vents are clean, lip clean, plate in proper orientation, temp reading accurate at power up, last vacuuming of hot pot, and last vacuuming of hopper. Well that last one I never have done with the bullseye. First...

    Bullseye Startup Issues

Thanks for sharing aztracker. I’m willing to try anything. Of course my outdoor right now is 35 F and rainy. Will try tomorrow. Was unable to connect with RT support today. Hoping I’ll get a chance tomorrow.

    Bullseye Startup Issues

Bought a bullseye in summer but it continues to be a problem starting up. Hit and miss on good starts. Always fails when family is counting on it. Tonight it crawled up to 160 after 30 minutes then dropped down for a while then eventually back to 168 then back down to 140 range. Using Riot mode...

Decision - Access to Bull hopper

I am only 5’9” and tend to load my RT-700 from front frequently with no issue. I hinge hopper lid open against an outdoor umbrella post behind my Bull which keeps the hopper lid upright (around 90 degrees) and keeps the lid from flipping the full open 180 degrees. A wall would do similar. I only...

    That doesn't look right

Dang. Well I read somewhere before hand on this forum the issue and happened to own a tap to retap threads first and all was well. At this point you’ll need to extract the bolts if you got the tools to do so - I’d call RT to let em know the issue regardless. Not sure how much of the bolts are...

    That doesn't look right

That’s tough. Bummer. I got mine today and unfortunately the box was banged up real bad. My heart sunk; it was unlikely to be A ok in there. Turns out there is a lot of cosmetic damage including a substantial dent underneath the hopper. Needless to say, I photographed it all before opening and...

    Bullseye Accessory Kit

My hope would be to sear quickly with a Bullseye and bake in Bull provided it gets hot enough quick enough to make that worth the dual effort. Wish they posted a time/temp graph on their products in at least their controlled environment.

    Bullseye Accessory Kit

Dang that is impressive. I wonder if others have the same luck. How long did it take to get to that temp and how did it do on pellet use? My RT-700 just takes too long and burns through too many pellets when I go Full - been hoping for a non-gas searing station...this would do the trick for me...

New RT product - FLAT TOP GRIDDLE

Thanks David. The photo I shared didn’t do the seasoning justice. I do have to say it is much much darker in person. That aside I reached out to CS and they shipped me a new one a couple weeks back. Turns out being just as warped out of the box before seasoning. I offered to send the new one...

New Beta app update patch / BearMountain Pellet review.

Thank you very much for this update. Am I seeing a really big win here on a preheating alarm? For clarity, is the beta version telling you when you reached set temp? Without constant alerts starting you are out of range? That is going to be so helpful
