I also called RT customer service and talked to a fellow named Joe about the 4 year warranty. He did confirm my RT-590 would be retroactively covered from when we purchased it (12/18.)

That front shelf looks great!! I also have a Stampede and need a shelf. Every time I call RT I inquire about when they are going to come out with a shelf. I get the same answer every time... It will be soon.

I use a wooden handle wire brush that has stainless steel bristles. I give them a good brushing when their cold, once again when their hot and again after I pull the food off.

I will have to try some of the beekeepers friend. Did you use the liquid or power kind? No, I did not contact RT yet. I've been having trouble with the WIFI. It worked initially now all of a sudden I cant connect. I was going to call and ask about both at the same time.

Colby, We got our stampede for Christmas this year. We have used approx 2 bags of the REC Tec premium pellets so far. Our lid fits equally as bad as yours or worse. To add insult to injury the smoke has totally discolored the SS edges of our grill.
