both those grills are junk.
RT . do have problems time to time. let customer service work that out.
i have ben a weber purchaser since 1989.
the only grill that weber has that’s worth a dollar is the kettle charcoal grill and it’s not really worth $ they want for it.

600 deg may be a good high point on the 380. it’s a smaller cooking chamber.
i’ve done wings whole chickens, steaks, pork chops on mine and i haven’t even used riot mode yet, i believe my highest cook temp was for steaks at 500 deg.
you should take one for the team, try the 590...
if your using to long of extension cord that will happen.

i caused a lot of clogs on my old 680.
Because I didn't cover during bad weather ( heavy snow, rains etc)
i actually challenged my old 680 to fail me in the 7 years i owned it.
i have only had 4 major clogs with the 680. the last one was the worst , because i left it filled with pellets...
Bullseye is worth every penny!
anything i would cook on my kettle would be hot n fast cooks.
I got my Bullseye in February, and i haven't touched my weber K since.
steaks, dogs, chicken wings, whole chickens, all turn out great!
I even did a rack of ribs on the kettle @ 280 that turned out...

Got my Bullseye a lil over a week ago.
1st impression was it is short and kind of flimsy. was EZ to assemble.
