Meatloaf is one of my favorite cooks.

When I did it I just took the package bag out of the box and crushed up the dried stuffing by hand. Did not get it crushed up small enough so there were some bigger pieces in the meatloaf. Next time I will give it a quick whirl or two in the food processor just to get the stuffing pieces...

    Untrimmed Brisket?

I don't trim brisket at all, even the hard fat people keep talking about. For me it is easier to just trim off the excess fat after cooking and resting. Besides, what I do trim off after cooking is a small amount of the thickest fat because I like the fat. It gives a lot of flavor and I'm...

Part of a brisket I found while digging through the freezer. Best I remember the last one I bought was too big for the RT-340 so I just cut it in half and saved part of it to cook later. Later arrived and it turned out quite good. Served with Italian green beans.

Meatloaf is one of my favorite cooks.

Something I have always liked and this one I did a bit differently in that I used Stovetop stuffing for the breadcrumbs. Turned out quite good but I used the whole box of stuffing mix and probably should have only used half or maybe 3/4. Now I will have to experiment next time with stuffing...

She has some diet restrictions following major surgery several months ago or she would have tore into one of the sandwiches.

At our house mayo talk consists of one word...Duke's. Not too stubborn to try something new though. Might have to try out the Kewpie recommendation.

Love me some fresh squash. A couple of months from now we will be knee deep in squash and tomatoes right out of the garden. First pan of fresh from the garden squash in the cast iron skillet is a summer highlight, as is the first tomato sandwich...white bread, Dukes mayo and still warm from the...

So this is not a recteq cook but thought I would share it anyway. My wife had a business trip to New Orleans last week and on the way back she picked me up a couple of Central Grocery muffuletta sandwiches. I love these things. Because of storms passing through, her flight was delayed and she...

    RecTeqForum Re-Organization - Feedback appreciated!

I like the idea of a reorganization. For me there are several model specific sections I have never even looked at. @Jim6820 suggestion is a great idea and would certainly become a much visited sub-forum.

Basically a repeat of last night (we never throw away leftovers) except I substituted in fried cabbage in bacon drippings for the black beans. Also had a spinach, grapes and pecan salad to go with it. My wife loves spinach salad with pecans and grapes and I like it ok. The raspberry vinaigrette...
