I use lumberjack I have found that I get a better burn and more flavor with them . I like the hickory and pecan.

I got my RECTEC on 4-3-2014 and this is the cover that came with it. Well It is pretty much dry rotted an has holes all over it.

Well I went out to take the cover off my 680 this morning and it ripped. Well it is now time to replace it. So what is the best cover to get for it?

I try to clean it out every once in a while because I have had it jam the auger to where it wouldn’t turn at all. It was a real pain to get it all cleaned out. So has anyone else had that problem and if so how did you clean it out?

I have the older version front shelf on my 680 but I think I would like the version better as the older one the letters RecTek were cut out and left holes in it where that letters were and it sometime catchers and rips the foil or butcher paper I am using.Other than that I love it.

I think next time I buy pellets I am going to try the lumberjack.

Has anyone thought about a mod to make a clean out. If so how did you do it and do you have picks?

I have seen on other brands of pellet grills that have a little trap door for the unused pellets to drain from the hopper had all ways thought that was a good way to clean out the pellets. What are all of your thoughts?
