    It’s official- RT at Ace

My local ACE has carried Recteq for over a year now, but to be honest, they were the "Test" location, here in Evans which is less than six miles from Recteq-HQ. I THINK they were at ACE in Savannah, since that is where they also have a warehouse. I did see the video, and I think it could very...

    2023 RT Academy

Sorry I missed seeing this, and therefore, not respond. As I said above, the Academy is awesome, but it IS expensive. It is a way to get A LOT of information blasted to you at once. It is a Crash Course in competing in a Competition Cook. It it taught by people that compete on various circuits...

Bullseye Do most users unplug their Bullseye after use?

Mine stays plugged in, all of the time. My outside plug is a GFCI plug, so I do not worry about it much. As was stated above, there is no way for the Bulls-Eye to start up, all by itself. Not that "Smart".

    Masterbuilt Gravity Series

When I go to Costco.com, it does not show up for the Augusta, GA location, but I saw it today, with my own two eyes. I do not know what is going on... @Jim6820 -- I get the same results, when I go to the link, but they are stacked at my Costco.

    Masterbuilt Gravity Series

Since I was heading that way anyway, I did look at the Masterbuilt Grill @ Costco. It is a special "Pack Up" for Costco -- Model 900, which does not exist on the Masterbuilt website. This pack up includes the new pizza oven. I could be completely wrong, but the charcoal hopper and feeder, seem...

What is your reaction to " Ray's Club" ?

IF you joined "Ray's Club", and membership equated to a discount on Academy, then I would be more inclined. I'm sure they are going to provide a fair return in swag, but as others have said, you can only store so much stuff. RecTeq was in attendance at the CASA Home Show in Grovetown, GA this...

    Bear Mountain at Costco

Must be regional thing. The Augusta, GA Costco sells Kirkland and Traeger pellets, since they also peddle their special "pack-up" from Traeger, just like QVC used to.

    Stampede Still Happy…..Stampede Owner

You are completely correct, sadly. "A bit extra" will not get it done. We bought a Ford Edge, that was built in Canada, so it's close. Wanted a Kia Telluride, made in Georgia, but just could not accept the stupid markups the Kia dealers were charging. Erin and Ben Napier's Laurel Mercantile...

    Bullseye froze auger

Mine is in the BT-380 section, back in 2021. Good Luck again. You can do a search on my name. None of us enjoy "pellet mud", trust me...

    Bullseye froze auger

I also own a Bulls-Eye, and have had a pellet jam also before. I did a write-up on my "journey", and it was reasonably detailed about disassembly and such. It is a total abortion of a chore to resolve, and you truly only want it to happen to you, ONCE. You pretty much have to disassemble the...

Stampede Issues/Disappointment with RT-590 and ReqTeq

There was a thread about this. Since we live so close to RT-HQ, there were a couple of items that popped up. They needed money to grow to the next level. Personally, I think they lost some autonomy in the process. Rec-Teq owns the facility/warehouse in Evans, GA. There were some changes when the...

Stampede Issues/Disappointment with RT-590 and ReqTeq

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with your 590. I bought a Bulls-Eye first, to dip my toe into the pellet grill arena, and truly enjoy it. A 590 is on my horizon next. Of all of the YT channels I review, I only remember one guy, having a major grease fire, and that was on a Bulls-Eye. I...

A suggestion for RecTeq - Build your own bundle

That would explain things. I am only a member of the General Group. I knew that THIS group was independent, and that is why I joined it, and paid my lifetime dues.

A suggestion for RecTeq - Build your own bundle

My first inclination is yes, call Recteq. However, whether or not Recteq lurks on this forum, I do know for a fact that Recteq DOES lurk on the FB Recteq group. I have personally read some pretty heated discussions with "owners" telling RT-CS that they do not know how to start up THEIR grills...

    Anyone have a Vitamix blender?

I missed this somehow. I have had a Vitamix for about four years now. Vitamix is to blenders, like Kitchen-aid is to mixers. You can probably mix concrete with either of them. Got mine at QVC. Every so often, they make a Vitamix pack-up available as their "Today's Special Value". It has been...

    Ordering from Amazon or recteq.com?

For large items, you will never get them directly from the Amazon Distribution Center. They're big, but not THAT big. I have one about 20 miles from my house. I'm also about 5 miles from Recteq-HQ. Unless you are getting a financing deal like @Dr.Floyd mentioned, buy from the vendor direct. It...
