RT-1250 1250 and sear kit

Hey all, I searched for this and couldn't find anything. The sear kit was delivered yesterday. I fitted it inside the grill making sure it was pushed all the way in. It still seems like the grease diverter bumps into the sear kit. Is this your experience as well? I may just have to put the sear kit sideways whenever I need it just to make sure it does not bend/damage the grease diverter.

If you're referring to the Grillgrates, I haven't had any issue hitting the grease diverter...at least I never noticed it. Only one panel here, but it fit.

Yeah. Ok, looks like I'm good then. It just feels so close to the edge.

Mine fit into my 1250 as well. Yeah it's close but I haven't had it make contact. The grease does drip off the front and/or back though so just be aware of that if making really greasy food.
