Stampede 590 maiden voyage

I did a burn in on my new 590 and fired up a couple burgers on the sear kit. My bride of 27 years tells me "This is one of the best burgers you have ever grilled!"

Guess this 590 is a keeper!!!! Tomorrow is a couple Ribeye steaks and later in week is a port butt.

@justdennis, my wife and I started our Stampede journey with reverse sear ribeyes using the sear kit; her first bite led her to say, “Hmmm, this tastes interesting”....a few minutes later, hers was gone, and she asked, “Are you going to eat all of yours?”

Last night on the Stampede was a 6 Lb whole turkey breast; as I sit here and type, my wife is sitting across from me, building a grocery list and texting other family members, asking what proteins they would like me to cook on the Stampede during their Christmas week with us.

Guess I’ll be a busy guy this week....
