Initial impression is good. I get alerts the grill is preheating, at temp, over temp. Probe alarms also seem to work now.

They definitely simplified by making the grill temp work off the setpoint and +/- 15 degrees.

Have they fixed the app so it displays updated temps after your phone has gone to sleep and you wake it ?

I know what you're talking about. I have to postpone my cook till tommorow I'll let ya know what I see. I usually just "refresh" my screen when it doesn't though.

Good news, hopefully this gets put out soon and not the end of the year. Is it needed? no, but would be nice to have working functions of the app. Look forward to your feed back

I even got alerts that the probes were disconnect and the grill was turned off. Still have a question about getting alerts if the app is in the background but this is already a big improvement.

All these years later, and the app is still a a crappy low budget afterthought.
