I’ve noticed that the last few times I’ve used my bullseye, after it’s been running awhile, there’s a considerable amount of smoke escaping from the hopper instead of the actual cooking area. Has anyone else experienced this or know why this may be happening? what to do to fix this?

Clean you vents and vacuum out the fire pot.

If that doesn’t stop it then put in fresh pellets.

My guess is your grill isn't getting enough air flow out.

You need to make sure the vents are not too gunk'd up. I usually clean the vents from the inside after every few cooks. Also, scrape/clean around the rim of the grill b/c that can get gunk'd up and not allow as much air flow.

I do have this happen time to time but it is usually on the start up or as the grill is heating up but goes away eventually.

Comparing like the Bullseye to any of the other RecTeq grills like the Bull or whatever, you have to maintain those vents a lot more than other RecTeqs.
