Hi, I'm a GMG DC owner, and a Bull owner.. I want to replace my DC, but the RT-340 is too tall in height for my needs. I'd like to get it under the tonneau cover on my pickup during the winter months here in MN. I'm wondering if there is a minimum height mod on the rt-340 that I can do to run this right on the tailgate of my truck. Can you simply NOT install the legs and get a few inches? There's no stack to shorten, but is there anything on the top/bottom that can be removed or shortened? Thank you!

@Morty first welcome to RecTecForum!

As for making the Rec Tec Trailblazer shorter, I would think you could remove the legs from the grill.

I've seen others mount the grills to a wooden cart to move around on their deck and don't see why something similar couldn't be done for the Trailblazer. If anything a small platform to steady the grill and act as a buffer from the heat and the bed of your truck.

Yes, you can not install the legs and use shims to level it. I do exactly that in my outdoor kitchen mount.
