Bull Locking handle on smoker box loose

New smoker box for 700 Bull. Locking horn seems loose. Tighten it all down but wobbles a little. Any one else seeing this or is that the way it operates?

I had to fiddle with my smoke box handle by bending the lever on the end of it so it would shut tighter and also messed around with the washers to give it some resistance when it's open. I would give recteq a call to see what they have to say.
