Stampede Stampede With Camp Chef Sidekick Mod

I did one too. It is a simple mod. Take off handle. Line it up and mark 3 holes. Drill for 5/16 bolts. Put in bolts to plug handle holes. Bolt up sidekick. I added a third washer as a spacer between grill and SK. Oh yea and bacon

Nice work. Just finished up putting the vent in place of the chimney...

Convinced me to finally get it. I just put in the order for the SK, griddle, and Dutch oven. Between that and the GMG pizza oven, I think I have all my bases covered.

sidekick update. I purchased the grillbox attachment. Put rib-eyes on rectec with probes set to 130. Recteq set at 225. Using Royal Oak 100% charcoal. When preferred temp was reached (probe notification on app is sweet) with the SK already preheated to 600 i put the rib-eyes on for a sear which was very quick. Steaks came out awesome. I highly recommend the SK as a complete setup with the recteq. Anyone want to buy some sear plates?

It's a stainless steel vent from Amazon....https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RRK559G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I had to do a little bit of Dremel work to make it fit right but it works like a charm
