This could be fun

There are a number of this kind of device on the market. If you've ever been around a commercial kitchen or paid attention to the process that some food oriented programs show in a commercial kitchen you might be familiar with a device called a Salamander. Often used for various broiler function; toasting, melting toppings, so on...……….similar to what you do at home with the broiler in your oven. That only gets to something around 550 degrees, so these have a lot more oomph, but the concept is essentially the same.
