Well, I had my first one yesterday

Never experienced one on my 340, but I started leaving the lid open on startup before I bought it. I can say I remember pictures of a 680 posted here years ago that, IIRC, someone even nicknamed The Terminator because it caught fire after a lid pop that the paint on the outside of the lid was so burned on the right side that it earned the name. I believe the fire department was called on that one!
