New 590 owner as of last week, this thing heats up faster than my propane grill! Insanely impressed with the speed it heats up to and how high it gets. I've cooked chicken thighs, wings, steak, and crab. Today I decided to make lunch and grill up some hot dogs for the kids, they like their hotdogs with some char so I turned it up to full after smoking them at 200 for 30 mins and this thing got to 560 before I backed it off 'full'.
What's the normal 'full' temp you are all getting? Mine was just delivered a week ago and it came with the 3rpm motor and cast iron heat deflector.
I am curious how how I can get this but I don't want to damage anything since it's so new. I've also noticed that my temperature seems to swing much more than many of you guys say (+/- 5 degrees). I've set mine for 250 and had it go up to 292 for a few minutes before cooling down back to 250. Is this normal?
