Thanks, It was a lot fun making it and coming up with a few different ideas that the other people who did the tool box cart mod didn't do.Dang now that some serious cart going on over there hahah...Badassary for sure. I ???????
Go for it that's why it's posted on here.I've been thinking of building a cart for mine and I think I may have to use some of your ideas, if your okay with that?
Overall it looks very well thought out. I like the APC added to it and the weather tight outlets...
I got the idea from over on FB, a few people have done the tool box cart mod over there. The things I was looking to accomplish was increase the cooking height of the grill, I'm 6'2" 6"3 on a good day and the extra height is nice for my old back. I also wanted to be able to transport it when necessary so the bigger 4 caster wheels make that happen and getting it out from where I store it a lot easier this along with the tie downs for when it's in the truck. Storage was next as I stored everything inside the grill and had to pull it out all the time and find somewhere to put it when the grill was in use. The APC was a after thought, I had one laying around from the old desktop days, put in a new battery and it was good to go this gives me long overnight cook power outage and surge protection. The rack on the back is for greasy or hot grills grates. The grate for the fans and plug for the drip bucket keep the critters out.Yeah, we're getting serious in here !....haha nice job, and I like your mod work.

The cart took way longer than it should because of shipping issues and design changes at 3am in the morning waking me up. LOLAmazing job. How long did it take to make. About your deck, Ipe? ??
Just finished Ipe Adirondack chairs, stools and side table for around our fire pit. It is tough as nails on all my equipment. Saw blades, drill bits, band saw blade. BUT it is beautiful. ??The cart took way longer than it should because of shipping issues and design changes at 3am in the morning waking me up. LOL
As far as the decking Yes it's Ipe but Fiberon composite, crazy expensive but we love it. This Ipe decking has been out there on the front porch I designed and built for almost 10 years now.
Wood rack, too.Just finished Ipe Adirondack chairs, stools and side table for around our fire pit. It is tough as nails on all my equipment. Saw blades, drill bits, band saw blade. BUT it is beautiful. ??
