I was curious as to how many lbs. of pellets did you go through your first month of ownership.

I just emptied my 4th 40lb. bag of pellets this morning into the hopper, is that excessive.. or do I need to step up my game and use it more?

Just 4...thats all?!?! Geez you better buy them by the ton...LOL

I haven't had mine a full month yet but since the 4 of july I have used 1 full bag thus far.

I typically use about a 40pound bag a month.

I asked a similar question earlier about how much you go through per hour on a slow cook. I've only had mine a week and I have already used about 20 lbs.
