Bull Advise for a noob!

Hey everyone.

I just purchased an RT-700 and will be receiving it soon. I was just looking for some advise from some of you seasoned RecTeq owners on the first fire/seasoning process. I'm sure there is nothing complicated about it, but thought I would see if there are any tips/recommendations floating around out there. I appreciate any feedback! Really looking forward to getting this bad boy set up and smokin!

After the initial burn in, I did chicken thighs as suggested by Recteq. Not an expensive cook, a good first step to seasoning the grill, and they came out great. The video below helped! The only difference from the video is I put some cherry chips on the heat deflector for added smoke flavor.
