I've been experimenting with baking different goods in my grill. First I tried home made pizza. It came out fantastic. I baked it at 500 deg for 13 mins turning once. I placed the pizza on a pizza baking screen then placed it in the middle of the grill on the grate. It worked fantastically. Next i baked home made biscuits on top of parchment paper on a baking sheet at 450 deg for 15 mins. Finally i made two brioche bread loafs placing them also on parchment paper on a large baking sheet at 350 deg for 30 mins. You get no smoke flavor during baking at these higher temperatures. It is now my goto baking oven especially during the summer so I don't have to heat up the house with the oven. Also I think things bake better because the rectec acts like a convection oven. Very even heat. Check out the pics below.
