Beautiful delicious bird, poor picture... but it speaks for itself.

Super juicy and crisp.

3 or 3-1/2 lb roaster chicken.

Bird sprayed with cooking oil. Apply Goya Adobo generously all over the bird, and black pepper to your taste.

Stand legs down over a HALF can of beer (drink the other half).
I cut off the tail to reduce height. Spread the drumsticks out to stand firmly. on the leg bones.

180 degrees for an hour 'ish.

Raise temp to 375 until internal is 170

Remove the can and rest for a few.

Very nice! Thank you.

Goya Adobo has been my go-to spice for chicken for as long as I can remember, not that I don’t experiment from time to time.

Looks good. I tried doing a beer can ckn a few years ago in the 340, didn’t fit! Darn headroom is my only issue with the 340.

Looks great. We never cook whole chicken anymore, too expensive when a finished 4 pounder rotisserie is hot and ready for $4.99 at Costco.
