Blower Fan Question

New Stampede owner here. Maybe this is a dumb question but is the fan supposed to run intermittently? Like every 3 seconds on, off? Been cooking at 225 for a few hours and the fan has been going on and off almost non stop every 2-3 seconds. Temp has been rock solid so maybe it’s just doing its thing.

Normal! if the temp was colder outside or with a higher set point it would be on constant. it will vary depending on the set point and outside temps.

Do you live where its warm?

And it can vary with different pellets too, depending on how hot they burn. Not a problem, just what the controller does in responding to temps it reads.

Thanks. Good to know. Got to 70s today. Now that the temp has dropped it’s running constant.
