Filling my stampede 590 pellet hopper today, I rested the bag (40#) on the edge of the hopper to allow the bag to pour when the grill flipped flipped onto the hopper end.
No damage or injury occurred!
Heads up!

Get yourself the comp cart and that won't happen. 😉...not meant to be a snide remark.

Thanks @SmokingHokie ,But I believe I’ll just keep a spare bag of pellets on the bottom rack for a counterweight .

Definitely a design flaw in the leg stance.
Any members think I should report to Rec Teq ?

This seems, odd. I have had my 590 for sometime now (years), and I cannot recall a single time when I placed a 20 or 40 lb bag of pellets right on top of the hopper itself, and had it flip at all. I dont have a compcart, or any other addon that would be counter weighting it either.
Glad you are ok though.

@RHEINLEIN You don't have the casters on the hopper side instead of the bucket side?

@v1per95

Are you an RT employee?
Seems you’re a new user and folks on this site don’t reply in the manner you did.

Of course it was my fault, just cautioning others of the possibility of this happening.

Actually it is designed for 30# capacity (stampede).
Not 40- my bad.
