I’ve always loved cooking on the grill and my wife bought me a offset smoker 2 years ago for Christmas just to see how I liked it. The smoker is one of the cheap as she only paid $100 for it, but I’ve loved playing with it trying to get it to hold temp and smoking ribs, chicken, pork loins and so on. I saw where Bill King sports radio host out of Nashville, Tn was talking about his Rec Tec and it piqued my curiosity. So research, research and more research and I landed with Rec Tec. The reasons, all the positive comments, it’s made by some good ol boys over in Georgia and the temperature control. I spent over 40 years in the refining industry and controlling temperatures are critical. I’m looking forward to using the grill and this forum.
