Just a small simple tip I wanted to share.

Though I have a cover on my RT-680 when it rains it holds water in the area where the flat top of the hopper meets the round part of smoker barrel. I put a small (6 inch) children's ball under the cover in the area mentioned. It forms a "peak" if you will so the water can no longer collect in this area.

Good idea! I have been using a piece of Styrofoam block the last couple of years to create a peak on the 700.
