Maple Flavor Pellets

Wondering how the Maple flavor pellets are working out for the fellow Recteq members trying them out!

First bag of pellets I had was the LJ comp blend which has maple, and I really didn't like it, for whatever reason; much prefer their supreme blend which has oak instead.

No issues, using them for cooking brownies.

Been using the Maple to cook pork. One roast cane out smelling like bacon. Ribs were very good (bb & St. l).

We did try a piece of chicken and wasn't wild about the result. Not sure if it was the smoke or combination of that with the rub.

Been using them mixed in with some LJ competition blend, and can't say I've noticed any difference in smell or taste.

Have mixed them in with the Pit Boss Comp Blend so far no taste difference I can tell. Temps still 550+ no problem (stock 2 RPM auger motor).
