Supplemental Smoke

I bought a smoke daddy diffuser, I never use my smoke tube anymore. Was tricky at first, but I have zero fluctuations now and gives me that almost close stick burner taste. Butts, briskets, etc etc..
 
I personally have resigned myself to doing things like butts and brisket on my stick burner first and then move to the pellet grill if I want the amount of smoke flavor I want. I tried the tube but it didn't help. On my last cook I put it on the smoke setting and ran it for around 12 hours, still not the smoke flavor I desire. I honestly thought it was just me at first, but I always cook way more meat than the family can eat so I always take some to a couple of coworkers. When I gave them some that had only been done on the pellet grill I asked for their feedback. They all said it lacked the good smoke flavor that is normally present in the meat I give them.
