Stampede Temperature on Rec Tec Stampede is off

Temperature is way off. How can I reset the actual temperature on my Stampede?

@woody70090 how are you measuring your temp, how do you know they are way off?

If you know for sure they are indeed off, say due to really cold or hot weather, you can adjust the feed rate.

I’m thinking the actual temperature probe has failed. With the 2 meat probes just lying on the grill, the temp was 200 deg. And the actual temp reading was 65 degrees.

I had the same problem when I received my Stampede. I forgot how to fix it, but I called Rec Tec and they walked me through it. Problem was solved. Great customer service.
