Is this temp fluctuation the norm in pellet smokers or specific models depending on tech used? Using fan, I assumed temp won't fluctuate more than 10 F

Isn't supposed the controller to manage the increased heat due to external conditions and stop blowing/burning down until temp reaches back to 225?
I am in SoCal and have around 8 hours of direct sun light so I would like to know as this is very critical for me.
