    Honestly, we cook our bacon in the oven. For us, it all depended on how thick I sliced it.

    on point. You can always soak it for a bit after rinsing the brine if you are worried about it being too salty.

    Not too shabby if I do say so myself. I basically followed Raichlen's recipe with the exception of adding maple syrup to the belly before sprinkling on the dry brine. Will definitely be doing this more, with some tweaks of course. ;) Below is a link to the recipe...

    just some suckle busters texas rub. a bit of brown sugar, and misted a few times with AJ/ A cider. Stubbs sweet heat for a bit of sauce.

    Seasoned the Bull with a whole chicken. Decided to keep it simple for the first smoke. Baby Back Ribs. I have to say, the temp control on this pit vs my old Traeger is amazing. Again just the first smoke getting used to the new Pit. But the "reviews" were VERY good.

    Long time Traeger owner. Doing my Seasoning run currently with a whole chicken. Max smoke for 1/2 hour then up to 375. My Goodness the temp control on this thing is great! My old Trager would swing 20-30 degrees. The bull only swings 2 degrees ( at least on this cook). Thank you Stimulus...

    Might as well jump in. Just pulled the trigger on RT 700

    The old Traeger is dyeing . After a LOT of research, We're Moving on up! Just pulled the trigger tonight. Cover, Matt, and grill plates also. Lumber jack pellets in the garage (oops I broke the Traeger warranty ;) ) . Came to Rec Tec for more consistent temp regulation, and the 6 year...
