Call is the next best thing to being there! Call them.Title says it all, noticed a broken weld on a grate as I prepped this cook.. should I call recteq or say eff it?
Exactly … this is so far just one weld, but if they gonna warranty it, imma use itYeah, I was going to say call. I had the same thing happen and I have a brand new pair of grates I have not used yet.
Yeah, what are they going to do with a used grate with a broken weld anyway?I had the same problem several years ago. They replaced the grates (2) and didn’t even want me to return the old set. Gotta love RT!!!
Right ? Imma use the old ones til they fall apart though .. I’ll just have backupsYeah, what are they going to do with a used grate with a broken weld anyway?
Find someone with a TIG welder and have them put a little tack weld on the broken area.Right ? Imma use the old ones til they fall apart though .. I’ll just have backups
Only if it’s a friend who accepts beer as payment, otherwise it could cost as much as a new grate.Find someone with a TIG welder and have them put a little tack weld on the broken area.
