Has anyone ever used RTV silicone to create a gasket between the chimney and the barrel? I have not received my Bull yet, but when reviewing the assembly manual, it doesn't look that there is any gasket included.

@chenzel55 I suppose you could use some RTV but don't see the need to do so.

My chimney only has smoke coming out of one area and that's the stop of the chimney.

I can use a gasket of some sort on mine. I get runs down the side to wipe up.
Just had an idea. Maybe I'll try using some left over gasket from sealing the lid (y)

I didn’t have smoke leaking from the chimney but after a long brisket cook there was a considerable amount of dark oil running down the side of the grill at the base of the chimney. I removed the chimney and cleaned the mating surface. Then used RTV as a gasket and the problem was solved.
