Looks like a really good Valentines Day at your house! Happy VT to you!

Wife ended up cooking crab augraten (I'm sure I spelled that wrong). All the kids turned their noses up at it and went back upstairs without eating anything. Too cold here for a southern boy to cook outside. I think the high today was 11 which is nuts for Dallas. Supposed to be 0 tomorrow night. We are freezing in the house. Unfortunately heat pumps aren't made for this kind of cold weather. Just got an email from my daughters school that they have cancelled in person school until Friday because the gas company has cut the gas to all the schools so they would have it for the area houses to use.

As an add on to my previous post, the plan for today was to order pizza. That is usually what we do. We order several of the heart shaped pizzas because the kids like it. Called around and none of the pizza places are open. Tomorrow I'm cooking a big pot of seafood gumbo. Not sure how good it will be. Having to used frozen veggies instead of fresh. Went to Walmart yesterday to do some grocery shopping and they had been hit hard. You would think they were predicting we were going to be snowed in for weeks. The guy behind me had 3 cases of water and 2 cases of ramen noodles. Needless to say, there was no meat to buy. It was like it was back when the whole epidemic started. People around here freak out wth the mention of possible snow.
