Stampede Operating stampede with wifi

Hi all, used my stampede for the first time and loved it! Grilled up some tenderloins to perfection. One problem. I turned on my grill and was controlling the temp with my phone. It got up to 548 degrees. When I put my steaks on and put the probes in the meat, I got no readings on temps. The grill was showing internal temp just fine but I couldn`t get any temps from probe A or B. on my phone or the grill screen. What can I be doing wrong?

Uninstall and re-download the app, see if that works. Maybe...
they should be on the Grill screen regardless.

I am brand new so this might not work for you but did for me. I was went halfway between my router which was upstairs and my Rec Tec 700 which is outside. Started the whole sync process over and it worked first time.

Before I did the "half way" method I tried at least 5 times to sync by standing next to my grill and deleting the app and reloading the app. GL.
