Rt-700 light bulb?

Anyone know lightbulb data for replacement in the RT-700?.I went to the site to order a CPL and the parts section is down...figured I can just run somewhere and find some?

120V / 35W HALOGEN BULB lowes or home depot should carry them

Call Rec Tec support, they will send u one for free in a couple days. Have to love the 6 yr warranty...

Not sure that's covered, but appreciate the reply. I ordered a dozen of them off Amazon for not much more than the cost of one from RT. Now I just need to figure out how to clean that light cover..

I heard soaking it in oven cleaner then steel wool works.

Barkeepers friend and a toothbrush will work nicely too, not against the oven cleaner but handling lye products needs a bit more care is all.

I actually just cleaned it. And all it took was Dawn dish soap, and water. It hadn't been cleaned in months. I had actually tried the "Awesome" cleaner that I use on the grill and it didn't work. I'll do the Barkeeper's friend next time I have some here I use that also.

And for those interested, the bulb type is a "G4" meaning 4mm pin distance. Many to choose from cheaper than RT.
