I want to thank you guys for the ideas and help with coming up with this shelf for my 590. I used a stair tred like mentioned on a previous post and used the folding shelf brackets. Just wanted to share how I was able to place my picture on the shelf. If you are an Amazon prime member you can use Amazon photos and order picture prints delivered. Once I stained to wood, I used Mod Podge glue to glue and seal picture on wood. It goes on top and dries clear (I YouTube how to use it). Then after a couple of days, I used this stuff called Amazing clear cast epoxy that worked awesome (also youtubed how to use). Haven't tested how heat resistant it is but feels like it will last a long time. I was able to have my 1st cook on it last night, made some baby backs and Dino ribs, both came out bomb! Love how well it controlled the temp! Thanks again y'all for your post sharing how you made the shelf
