So I came across this 3.5Lbs tri-tip with a fat cap.
This got me to thinking, how to cook a tri-tip with the fat cap.
So I came across @HeyGrillHey
and Susie laid out a great plan.
I thought to my self, Self we have a tri tip with a fat cap so let’s try it.
And oh Hell Yeah!!
It was so good and Juicy.
I used salt and pepper plus heffer dust.

You should give it a try

Love reading Hey Grill Hey, a lot of good stuff on there.
The tri-tip looks outstanding, thanks for the idea, I’ve got to get my hands on one of these so I can try it!

This is great, I was just talking about doing this when we planned our grocery list but they had no big tri tips. I plan on maybe doing it for Easter if the butcher has any 👍. Thanks for sharing
