Smoked Pulled Pork - Not BBQ, But....

I have used this method with pork butts but added more smoke with a smoke tube. Have had better compliments than doing traditional BBQ. Very moist and tender but as you note the bark is not heavy.

Where do you keep your Rec Tec?

RT 700 came with competition cart and REC TEC cover. In Iowa so keep it heated garage and move outside to grill. Never use the cover. No problems

    Bull RT 700 power cord

Crysis, I really like what you have done here. I would hope Rec Tec would take note and include this on future production models.

    Bull RT 700 power cord

Has any one come up with a good solution to keep the power cord out of harms way after a cook? When I tuck it into the handle of the pellet box it can touch the hot grill barrel of the grill and melt the cord covering - not good. Laying it on top of the control box shelf after use is OK but...

    Rec Tec Pizza Oven?

Would like to see a pizza oven to fit my RT-700. Have seen the one Green Mt. has and it does pizza very fast by fitting over the fire box so that oven floor gets to very high temps, cooking pizza in under three minutes. Come on Rec Tec, show us your stuff.

    Other Texas Twinkies

Not from Texas but have done Texas Twinkies twice now with very good results. The wife is not into hot or overly spicy food but she loves these. Use large jalapeños, cut off tops and remove all seeds and membrane. Make a mixture of cheddar and cream cheese then add some chopped brisket (always...
