    After a long night of smoking I decided that today I would clean, polish and buff the Bull in preparation for 2020. I also added the lava gasket to keep it cleaner next year. My wife thinking I am nuts..... Bu she enjoys the food. ;-)

    Bull Port Butt for New Years Eve

    I did a butt for New Years eve Party - Extreme Smoke for 14.5 Hours to internal temp 150, then double foil wrapped and put back on smoker at 235 until internal temp reached 195. Super delicious. Added red chili powder from NM to spice rub, excellent.

    Bull 1st Boston Butt on my RT-700

    The Bull comes through in style! 181 degrees for 5.5 hrs 210 degrees for 12.5 Hours until internal temp at 195. Wrapped in foil at 155 Degrees.

    I was having problems with getting both probs to pick up so I call RECTEC. We trouble shot it on the phone and three days later I have a new PID with return label at my door. Changed out PID and tested. Very happy!!!

    Bull RT-700 Arrived and assembled

    The RT-700 has landed in just 4 days. I will do burn in this afternoon and season by cooking 2 lbs of bacon. Over all very nice, absolutely love the new stance. I do think RT-680 smoker was a better built product.

    Bull Back from Italy - awaiting my RT-700

    I was transferred to Italy in 2016 so Before leaving I sold my RT-680 as they use 220 / 50 hz. Upon my return my bride encouraged me to buy the RT-700 for my birthday. It should be here on Friday. My only disappointment is that the 680 came with 40 lbs of pellets and the 700 does not...
