I’ve had my BULL BBQ Longhorn 5 burner gas grill for 11 years. It’s a great machine with 304 stainless. Going to keep it as it’s a beast.

For smoking, I have used an electric smoke pistol, chips wrapped in foil, the chip hopper (which worthless) and other ways to get smoke. I finally got a Masterbuilt but the smoke last an hour only.

So I was going to get a Yoder but hated the rust potential so decided on the BULL Tec Tec 700.

Awesome choice. First cook will be a Berkshire pork collar.

Put in a 7.5 lb brisket at 10 PM.

In the past, the Masterbuilt would have had an hour of smoke on a handful of wood chips.

It would have shorted out in the middle of the night and I wake up to 45 degree meat.

Not today.
