Home Depot Bucket Vac

I bought a Home Depot bucket vac to clean my Bull and to change pellets. However, the hose is too short to reach when the bucket is on the floor. I'll have to drag a chair over to support it when using it. Has anyone encountered this problem and solved it?

I have a small vac (about the same size as a bucket one). When im not being lazy i grab the extra hose i have, when i am being a bit lazy i just hold it and vacuum what i need. However i only use for cleaning i never change pellets.

Buy a longer hose?

I set it on the folding front shelf or hold it by the bucket handle. I also use a plastic scraper as needed before starting to vacuum, which helps.

I have one also and yes, it's short. I have the 590 and needed to take out the grate in the hopper to get down in there to vacuum out the pellets. Rec Teq pellets suck up easily. But LJ pellets are not all cut the same and the longer ones clog up the hose. We found it to be easier to just use a large scoop with a handle to remove pellets out of the hopper.

The idea of the bucket head was a good one but is more work than manually doing it.
