Bull Smoke box for pork belly bacon

Just set your grill to LOW, and assuming the feed rate hasn’t been jacked up, the grill will be fine at around 180° and will be at least 20-30° lower in the smoke box. I make bacon all the time and have never used the smoke box to do it.
 
What recipe/instructions are you following?
I do an equilibrium cure and then cold smoke and dry it. I don't cook the bacon when I eat it. :rolleyes:
