That's okay, I ordered a dozen and will have a auger motor sale shortly. It’s gonna get pulled now lol
Damn.. really want to buy one and thinking about the sear plates. 225 and reverse searing in 7ish mins would be perfect. It's even better for reverse searing, because you can go from 225 to to 450 in 5-7 minutes.
I'm going to find out tomorrow. Just installed mine this evening!Damn.. really want to buy one and thinking about the sear plates. 225 and reverse searing in 7ish mins would be perfect.
Does RecTeq go backwards numerically with firmware versions? In an effort to contribute here's my findings:
I checked my Bull firmware version that I purchased in March and it's 1.05 and auger will go below 30.
Frankenstein firmware version is 3.0 and will NOT go below 30. Now, if I can get RT to upgrade the controller on Frankenstein (Traeger) that will be awesome customer service!
I haven't checked the 680 but suspect it's version 4.0 / 5.0.
Power on will display the version of controller. Sounds like the 1.6.6. is app version.Does RecTeq go backwards numerically with firmware versions?
I have version 1.6.6 (279)... Whatever that means. Or, is this the version of the app on my phone? How do you find the firmware version in the controller? Anyway, I was able to change the feed rate to 15.
Why do you need the bracket? That sucks , thanks for the info tho , I was gonna order my bracket tonight , let us know if u find a way to make it work
It’s not a need, but it looked like another neat upgrade. Why do you need the bracket?
I'd be concerned with binding the auger using the bracket, IMHOIt’s not a need, but it looked like another neat upgrade.
I think he took the fan off of the old auger and swapped it.View attachment 10812
What’s the fix for the fan hitting the cover?
What has two holes, the auger or the motor? You have the cotter pin in the worng hole. Put thr pin in the second hole from the end.
